Portable Hood are also known as ductless fume hood are mobile, self-contained can be easily incorporated into existing workspaces because of its size and can be transported to various locations without difficulty. Portable hood uses two stage filtration process. The air is headed into filter chamber which houses filter media. The purified air recirculated to the working area. Filtration media protects the user and the lab environment from hazardous or toxic vapors.
Portable hood provides the perfect option when venting through a roof or wall is not possible. It does not require expensive roof modifications and venting. No need of roof fans, duct work.
