Mechanism

  • Laboratory Chemical Fume Extractorare widely used for removing smoke, fumes and fine powder. It is primarily designed for various chemical, pharmaceutical and biological laboratories, various research and development industries and light duty industries. This fume extractor is extremely durable, reliable and easy to operate.
  • It uses an activated carbon filter and fan to remove the smoke, and noxious fumes, created from soldering and other chemical processes.
  • The fume extractorincludes a flame-retardant, self-supportive flexible arm for easy and varied placement. Other benefits include small footprint, portability handle, heavy-duty casters for easy maneuverability, quick change pre-filter, and a variable speed controller. The product also known as Portable Fume Extractor.

Construction

It comes equipped with filtration media that is customized specifically for chemical fumes. In most cases, HEPA filtration is utilized and is up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger. Other options include ASHRAE [up to 95% efficient on particles 0.5 microns and larger] and ULPA filtration media [up to 99.9995% efficient on particles 0.12 microns and larger].
